“Junge Töpfe” is a project that was developed as part of a design course at the University of Applied Sciences. This unique pot stands out from typical pots due to its off-center handle, which enhances its handling. The pot was meticulously designed from scratch and manufactured in collaboration with “Metallguss Katz GmbH“. Additionally, a spoon was crafted from a piece of wood during a carving workshop as part of the project. While the pot reflects the industrial and geometric values of metal casting, the spoon’s design adapts to the organic nature of the wood. Despite their distinct design languages, the two forms create a synergy that harmonizes perfectly.
